Several participating companies and experts in the Cityscape Abu Dhabi said the emirate has enjoyed strong potentials at different levels. Abu Dhabi has bolstered its presence as one of the most prominent tourism, residence and stay destination in the world, as enjoying fantastic climate, security environment, advanced infrastructure and perfect arena for business, the event participants added.

The participating companies also pointed out that Abu Dhabi will continue to be an international center for tourism and business due over its great potentials as well as security and stability.
Number of the capital Hotels’ marketing and sales managers highlighted the conferences and exhibitions tourism, which Abu Dhabi has recently managed to lure, as one of the most significant type of the international tourism. Abu Dhabi agenda is full of conferences and fairs all over the year, main factor for activating tourism and increasing the occupancy rates in hotels, in addition to the impact of those international, regional and local level fairs on enhancing the promotional advantages.
Tourism hub for investments
Abu Dhabi Cityscape grows steadily year on year, and contributes in promoting the emirate as station for several international and regional investments, and a stay for several giant project set to open soon.
They stressed the influence of “Cityscape” will go beyond merely hotel occupancy during the period of the event, to prolonged periods of accommodation, as many of the exhibition visitors are expected to show up again to follow on the deals.
Developmental projects to unveil
The conferences’ tourism, and incentives have attracted high rates of tourism, because Abu Dhabi enjoys the characteristics needed in that regard, said the exhibition participants, predicting that the tourism share of the conferences and exhibitions will be doubled following the implementation of the tourism and the real-estate projects underway in the emirate.
They also expressed their confidence in the officials’ supervising the tourism and the real estate sector in the country. Those officials spare no efforts to revive those sectors, via launching several developmental projects and following the works of the real estate developing companies.
The country has paid much attention for applying the Abu Dhabi 2030 prolonged strategic plans because of the importance ofthose projects’ strategies in determining the current and future requirements of facilities and infrastructure.
The 10th edition of Cityscape Abu Dhabi, held at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, will witness launching group of special projects in hospitality, retail, residential and commercial sectors.
Yas Acres project kicks off
Aldar Properties took center stage with its launch of Yas Acres, a new residential, hospitality and leisure development that will be established on Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island. The 1,300-villas project was showcased on huge screens, and enjoyed interests of the exhibition visitors.
TalalDhiybi, chief development officer at Aldar Properties said: “We’ve seen tremendous interest in Yas Acres on the first day of Cityscape. From people looking at the three bedroom townhouses to those considering the six-bedroom Royal Oak villas we’ve been hearing that Yas Acres is appealing for its desirable location and great luxury lifestyle amenities.”
Eye on new projects
Middle East investors were joined by those from Georgia, Turkey, the UK and more, who filled the halls of the capital’s premier real estate event eager to find out about new projects and benefit from the exclusive offers on many of the developments which are on sale directly on the show floor.
During the show’s VIP opening, Eagle Hills, in partnership with The Address Hotel + Resorts launched “The Address Fujairah Resort”. The project is a unique multi-used leisure and lifestyle development in the Northern Emirates comprising 197 residential units and 20 villas adorned by a luxurious promenade overlooking a beach access and plaza.
Mubadala has unveiled the expansion of their projects at Al Maryah Island, one of the most enticing business and lifestyle destinations in the capital. Launching in May this year, the capital’s first Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island, spanning luxurious residential units and properties, is bound to attract more international, regional and local visitors to Abu Dhabi
At the retail sector, the UAE capital is prepared to welcome its first international Macy’s department store and Bloomingdale’s at Al Maryah Central as Mubadala announced the construction work on the 2.3 million-square-feet of retail space had commenced and is scheduled to open in 2018.
Also attracted attention in the exhibition was Green Lane, freehold land for sale in Liverpool, UK offered at premium rates exclusively to Cityscape Abu Dhabi visitors by Trafalgar Properties.

Al Mansoori reiterated since issuance of the new property law, the TDIC, the master developer of major tourism, cultural and residential destinations in Abu Dhabi, has welcomed the new rules and regulations pertaining to the new property law, and called for applying it for its role in protecting the interests for investors and developers working in the essential sector.
That law will serve in pushing forward the real estate sector cycle as boosting transparency, confidence in the real estate market, in addition to increase the investors’ numbers whether from the UAE, the region and the whole world.
