EGGSELENT EASTER AWAITS IN ABU DHABI DESERT
ِAbu Dhabi – 16 March 2016 :An Easter with a difference awaits UAE residents and visitors at the unique Arabian Nights Village heritage resort half way between Al Ain and Abu Dhabi.
A highlight of the special spring break weekend will be an Easter Egg Hunt among the towering dunes of Al Khatim, which features in the family March 27th, Easter Sunday package.
Post hunt, guests can decorate their own Easter Eggs and try camel riding and dune bashing in a 4×4, for those over 7 years of age, with a highly experience driver and get up close and personal with the village’s own herd of Arabian oryx and sand gazelles.
Other kids’ entertainment includes a bouncy castle, soft play area and use of the stunning desert oasis swimming pool.
Families can watch the magnificent sun set over the awesome desert and have a go at sand surfing, with a sit-on board for rookie surfers. Guests can also get temporary henna tattoos from the village’s skilled designer before relaxing on floor cushions for an international buffet dinner, which includes child-friendly dishes, while enjoying a transfixing performance from the resident belly dancer, Anusch, and chilling out to the strains and songs of resident Oud player Ahmed.
The Easter day package comes in at AED 300 for an adult, AED 200 for kids and is free for kids under six. Included in the price is a 1pm luxury coach pick up from Abu Dhabi’s Khalifa Park for the magical journey to the heritage- inspired village past large, roaming camels herds.
Before boarding the luxury coach at 9pm for the return to Abu Dhabi city, guests can warm themselves by the evening bonfire and reflect on an Easter like no other. Cameras and phones are a must for the unique photo and video opportunities.
