Abu Dhabi beaches shine

Abu Dhabi city is a magnificent destination for tourism, due over its cultural, civilization potentials and rich heritage, as well as its natural captivating sites.

Its coastal line is considered as one of the attractive destinations in the city, as extended for thousands of kilometers, and draw a beautiful picture of pearl sands that attract sand and seas lovers.

From Abu Dhabi’s Corniche, passing through Al Bateen beach towards Saadiyat and Yas Islands, and other islands in road, where beaches are moving like pearls in the sky, the costal line for the Capital Abu Dhahi, is minaret that attracts lots of tourist who seek relaxation under the Sun, in addition to the magic of the Gulf sea rich with diving, canoe, beach cycles, and other diversified activities.

Abu Dhabi Corniche

Abu Dhabi Corniche attracts from 30,000 to 50,000 visitors monthly to enjoy the family, individual and open areas. The Corniche’s visitors could benefit 1,100 free parking areas, five-minute walk far from the city beach. The beach entry prices don’t exceed ten DH for family and individual sections, while public beach is free for all.

The Corniche beach extends along with the Corniche Street nearby Hilton Hotel, Etihad Towers, Emirates Palace Hotel, till reaching Arab Gulf Street. Decorating with its golden sands and several parachutes over the week, Abu Dhabi Corniche is well-known with different activates especially in the weekends that lure excessive number of visitors to enjoy the performances and shows.

Abu Dhabi beach has won the “Blue Flag”, a world environment quality certification that is granted for beaches and marinas that ensure safe and clean swimming water.

Yas beach

The Beach of Yas Island, the newest sport and leisure beach in Abu Dhabi, with its pearl sands, contributes with its location in providing fun activities for the visitors.

The guests in Yas Island-seven hotels or hotel apartments seeking a chance to enjoy fun and pleasant time under the golden Sun, can enter the beach for free.

The beach provides so many sport activities, like beach volley ball, race sports in addition to rowing, and windsurfing.

The entry ticket for Yas Island Hotel non-guests ranges from 50 Dh for old people to 25 Dh for 8-16 years children from Sunday to Thursday. But in the weekend’s holidays, the ticket prices are sold by 100 Dh for old people, and 50 Dh for the young people, while children under eight years could enter for free, and Saturday is set only for women.

Saadiyat beach

Saadiyat beach is the first public beach in the island, that comprises Saadiyat Golf Club, Manarat  Al Saadiyat, Monte Carlo Beach Club, St. Regis Saadiyat, Park Hyatt resorts, that can enjoy the beach serves and activities.

The 400 m- Saadiyat natural beaches are the ideal place for practicing daily sport while enjoying clean environment.

Beside car parking areas, the beach provide lockers, changing rooms, towels, umbrellas, and beach chairs, as well as a big store for selling sport and sea clothes and tools. The visitors can also book certain areas for holding private parties and ceremonies.

The nine kilometers-long Saadiyat beach, is a safe area that maintain goodness of nature and environment, as it is surrounded by sands-bound protection, that limit effectively the urban residential expansion with at least 60 m far from the coastal line. The beach’s features minimize any environment negative affects and secure the surrounding area which is home for rare species of turtles.

Shangri-La hotel beach

Shangri-La hotel Village Pokhara embraces special beach that provide Arab gondola tours, and featured with panoramic overlook on the Abu Dhabi strait. The beach has outdoor beaches with attractive nearby attractions like Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, 15 minutes walk, and Al-Maqtaa Front,  two kilometers far from the hotel, and 15 minutes driving from Abu Dhabi International Airport.
